Customer Reviews: 0 of 0 found this review helpful: My experience; calm and tense at the same time, 2008-05-31 I had a major event coming up in August of 2007 so I started looking for something that would help my nerves. Instead of going to the store (the logical choice), I did an internet search and found Seredyn. I took Seredyn for that event and it seemed to work because I wasn't nervous on the supplement, just calm and a little agitated (the anxiety). I didn't take Seredyn again because, in all honesty, I forgot about it. I instead went to the doctor and got a prescription for Klonopin. I only needed Klonopin's affects for an hour. Klonopin numbed me for an hour, then gave me a hangover for 5 days. I couldn't function like that so I started looking for supplements again. This time, I went to the store and found something called True Calm so now I have something to compare Seredyn to. Seredyn calms you, but the underlying anxiety and panic are still there. I would wake up in the middle of the night stressed (on Seredyn) yet it had me so sleepy that I didn't even feel like going to work. Thus, I was calm and stressed at the same time. (Another reviewer had the same experience) True Calm by Now just calms you and seems to also erase some of the anxiety without numbing you. I can't recommend True Calm because I haven't taken it but 3 times, but I did like its feeling over Seredyn. 0 of 0 found this review helpful: Insomnia Help, 2008-05-27 I was suffering from insomnia and it was driving me insane. It was affecting my entire day. I felt moody from not getting enough rest...Overall, I felt awful and desperately needed help. I've been using Seredyn for 2 months now and it's been doing miracles for me. My doctor prescribed Xanax and it was helping out greatly, But I knew deep down that I didn't want to be taking Xanax long term..so I checked out seredyn. My boyfriend had taken amoryn before, so i was familiar with the company. I started taking seredyn and it seemed to help out. It was obviously a lot milder than the Xanax, but it seemed to start working quickly. (around 30 minutes) I only have taken one at a time so I dont know if it would be more effective to take a larger dose at one time. I didn't want to say anything negative about this because I thought maybe it was just me, but after seeing these reviews, I now know that the problem is Seredyn just doesn't work. I felt a little calm, but that was it. Certainly not the boost we're all looking for. These natural pills just aren't strong enough, I'm afraid. We'll have to stick to the real drug, and just take on any side effects it brings. I know that's what I'm going to do.
